Fleming Yachts now offers five models: the Fleming 55, 58, 65, 78 and the all-new 85. These semi-displacement, whisper-quiet, smooth, raised-pilothouse motor yachts are considered to be "the ultimate cruising yacht" by boating journalists and yachting enthusiasts throughout the world. Directed by Egil Paulsen, who has extensive knowledge of the marine industry and been associated with Fleming for
many years both as an owner and sales agent, and knows the boats inside and out. Besides personally owning a Fleming 55, Egil has considerable cruising experience and "knows himself what these yachts can do and how well they are built". Born in Sydney, Sam grew up on the water and boating. His knowledge of the brand is also extensive, having cruised many thousands of miles aboard a Fleming 55 in Scandinavian waters over several summer seasons. Sam joined the Fleming Yachts Australia office in 2011 and is educated with a Bachelor of Business Marketing. Our aim is to offer the highest levels of personal service to our clients throughout the country and to respond quickly to any of their needs. Construction of Fleming Yachts began at the Tung Hwa boat yard in southern Taiwan in 1985 under the personal supervision of Tony Fleming. Today, all Fleming Yachts continue to be built by Tung Hwa and are sold through a network of authorised dealers in the USA, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Japan. Tung Hwa now employs nearly 200 craftsmen and artisans, many of whom have worked there since the beginning. A total of approximately 18 Flemings are built each year. Adi Shard, Tony Fleming's nephew and protege, has worked full time at the Tung Hwa facility since 1998 to ensure the continued quality of the Fleming brand. He is assisted by Tsai. Duncan Cowie also spends considerable time at the yard specialising in the design and implementation of modern systems and liaising with suppliers of related equipment.
