🛠️🏁 WORKING BEE THIS SATURDAY! 🏁🛠️

With our first race meeting of the season just around the corner, we’re getting a crew together this Saturday from 8:00am to knock over a few jobs around the venue.

The main jobs will be moving some grandstands, giving the place a good tidy-up and getting everything looking sharp before the SunPork Group Steven Wheeler Memorial.

If you can spare an hour or two, every extra pair of hands helps and it’s a great chance to get stuck in with the crew before race season properly fires up.

🥜 Roy has apparently nominated himself for “supervision duties” again… so we’ll definitely need the actual workers there. 😆

👑💗 THE 9TH ANNUAL QUEENS ROYAL HAS TWO HUGE NAMES BEHIND IT! 💗👑

We’re very excited to announce that Ries Trucking and Dirt Track Girls have joined forces as Naming Rights Sponsors of the 9th Annual Queens Royal, held on the opening night of the 15th Annual Ian Boettcher Race Parts Kings Royal.

The event will officially be known as the:

👑 9th Annual Ries Trucking. & Dirt Track Girls Queens Royal 👑

And their support has helped us increase the prize money for our Top Stars in 2027, giving the ladies even more to race for!

Top Stars
🥇 1st — $750
🥈 2nd — $500
🥉 3rd — $350
4th — $200

New Stars
🥇 1st — $500
🥈 2nd — $200
🥉 3rd — $150

Plus $100 for everyone else who starts the night, with trophies for the top three in both Top Stars and New Stars.

A massive thank you to Tony and Ries Trucking. Tony has been an enormous supporter of speedway over the years and has continually backed opportunities for women within our sport, so having Ries Trucking attached to the Queens Royal is a fantastic fit.

And alongside them is Ashlea and Dirt Track Girls, a name that has become synonymous with supporting, promoting and celebrating women in speedway. Ashlea does a tremendous amount to give female competitors more exposure and help showcase their achievements across the sport, and we’re thrilled to have Dirt Track Girls involved with the Queens Royal.

The Queens Royal has always been about giving women the opportunity to race, compete and enjoy their own feature event on one of Kingaroy’s biggest weekends — and with Ries Trucking and Dirt Track Girls behind it, the 9th running is shaping up to be something pretty special.

🔥🏁 55 CARS ALREADY — AND ONE WEEK LEFT TO NOMINATE! 🏁🔥

The field is building nicely for the SunPork Group Steven Wheeler Memorial on Saturday, 24th October, with 55 cars currently nominated and still a full week to go before nominations close.

Current numbers:

🏁 Production Sedans — 15
🏁 Junior Sedan Top Stars — 12
🏁 Street Stocks — 11
🏁 Modified Sedans — 8
🏁 Junior Sedan New Stars — 8
🏁 National 4’s — 1

And there’s a pretty good reason to get some laps around Kingaroy early in the season.

For the Street Stocks, the biggest one of all is coming in February when we host the 2027 SSA National Street Stock Title. Every race lap between now and then is valuable track knowledge.

For the Modified Sedans, January means the 15th Annual Ian Boettcher Race Parts Kings Royal — there’s no better way to start getting your Kingaroy package sorted than racing the track beforehand.

And for the Production Sedans, the 6th Annual Luke & Matt Excavations Production Sedan Stampede awaits on Nights 2 & 3 of Kings Royal weekend with $4,000 to win.

For our Juniors and National 4’s, it’s another chance to get valuable race laps, learn the surface and start the new season on track.

So if your car is ready, come and race with us on October 24 — let’s keep building these fields over the final week! 🔥

🚜🏁 Wooroolin Machinery PUTS ITS NAME BEHIND THE SPRING FRENZY! 🏁🚜

We’re very happy to announce that Chris and the team at Wooroolin Machinery will be the Naming Rights Sponsor of our November race meeting — the Wooroolin Machinery Spring Frenzy on Saturday, 14th November 2026.

And they’ve put their name behind a cracking night of racing:

🏁 360/LS Sprint Cars
🏁 Speedcars
🏁 Formula 500s – Seniors & Juniors
🏁 Compact Speedcars
🏁 Modlites
🏁 Legend Cars

Chris has been a massive supporter of Kingaroy Speedway, and that support has gone well beyond race night.

At the end of last season, Wooroolin Machinery donated a brand-new power harrow to the club, giving our track crew another valuable piece of equipment to help prepare and maintain the Kingaroy surface.

That sort of support makes a genuine difference to what we can do, and we’re incredibly grateful to have Chris and Wooroolin Machinery continuing to stand behind the club.

If you’re after agricultural machinery, parts, servicing or equipment, make sure you keep Wooroolin Machinery in mind and support the businesses that support Kingaroy Speedway.

A massive thank you again to Chris and the team at Wooroolin Machinery.

☀️🏁 A PARTNERSHIP THAT MEANS MORE — SunPork Group STEVEN WHEELER MEMORIAL 🏁☀️

When we open the 2026/27 racing season on Saturday, 24th October at Ian Boettcher Race Parts Kingaroy Speedway, we’ll once again do it with a race meeting that means a lot to our club, our competitors and plenty of people around Kingaroy.

The SunPork Group Steven Wheeler Memorial is our opportunity to remember and celebrate Steven “Ice Cream” Wheeler — a much-loved member of our speedway community who is still very fondly remembered.

And having SunPork Group continue as Naming Rights Sponsor makes this partnership particularly special.

Steven was a former employee of Swickers in Kingaroy, part of the SunPork Group, so there is a genuine connection between the business supporting the event and the person we’re honouring.

Swickers has been part of the Kingaroy community for decades and remains one of the region’s major employers, while SunPork Group is a major Australian pork producer with operations spanning farming, processing and food production.

We’re incredibly grateful to SunPork Group and the Swickers team for continuing to stand behind this memorial and helping us make sure Steven’s name remains a big part of our season opener.

On track, we’ll have:

🏁 Modified Sedans
🏁 Production Sedans
🏁 Street Stocks
🏁 Junior Sedans – New Stars & Top Stars
🏁 National 4’s

The night will also once again be our Pinking up South Burnett Pink Night, giving us the chance to raise awareness and funds for the McGrath Foundation while supporting another cause that means so much to our local community. 💗
