1986 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV - 'Quattrovalve' - Genuine RHD - Matching Numbers - FULL Restoration - Period Correct - 1 of 33 RHD only Built QV\'s

*** THIS ACTUAL CAR IS FEATURED IN CURRENT JAN 2026 WHEELS MAGAZINE MAIN FEATURE....We are thrilled to present this rare opportunity to secure one of the most iconic supercars of the 70s and 80s: the breath-taking 1986 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV (Quattrovalvole) in stunning Nero Black, paired with a luxurious Champagne Nappa leather cabin. This extraordinary Countach was first delivered to the UK by London Lamborghini in August 1986, before being imported to Australia by its last owner over 20+ years ago. Around 10 years ago, the car underwent a comprehensive, nut-and-bolt restoration, with every detail—body, interior, and mechanical components—meticulously restored to be period-correct by Blackmanns leather specialist and Clem of Unique Restorations one of the best in the industry specialising in Italian supercars from the 70\'-90\'s. Originally delivered in Rosso Red with a Champagne Nappa cabin, the car was repainted in Nero Black during the restoration to match the owner\'s Miura in 2005 and then a nut bolt restoration in 2018 maintained the Nero coachwork but period correct interior, including door cards and carpets, remain as they were originally designed and specified. Also the front indicators lenses were tinted BUT supplied with original brand new lenses when sold. A PPI by one of the foremost experts in Australia has been completed and the QV is ready to go. 100% rust free and structurally perfect as painstakingly restored by master restorers.

As one of the most recognisable supercars ever built, the Countach QV 5000 is still highly coveted by car enthusiasts worldwide. It remains the centrepiece of many prestigious collections. To add to its authenticity, the car comes with its original leather delivery wallet, sales order, manuals, and booklets—all confirming its status as a fully matching numbers car, which is vital for its future value. In 1970, Project LP112 was the code name given to what would ultimately become the Countach. The Countach name came from a styling assistant who said the Piedmontese term 'contach!'— a phrase of awe— upon seeing the final concept. The concept shown in 1971 was a huge hit however, it took until 1974 before we saw the first production Countach. When the Lamborghini Countach was unveiled to the world in 1974, it shattered conventional notions of what a supercar could be. With its audacious design, ground-breaking engineering, and raw, unfiltered performance, the Countach didn\'t just enter the automotive scene; it blasted through it, leaving a lasting imprint that resonates in the hearts of car enthusiasts to this day. So much so, Lamborghini have recently released the new 'Countach' based on the Aventador which was sold out before release and this re-creation has only kept, and will increase, the values globally of this amazing QV 5000.

The Lamborghini Countach was the defining supercar of the late 1970s and 1980 before it was finally discontinued to make way for the Diablo in 1990. Lamborghini’s third major Countach revision came in March of 1985 at the Geneva Motor Show. The model was named after its new cylinder head which featured four valves per cylinder and it was known as the Quattrovalvole or QV (four-valve in Italian). In 1985, the Countach LP5000 QV was introduced. This new version featured a 5.2-liter V12 engine with four valves per cylinder, improving efficiency and performance. The car produced up to 455 horsepower with six downdraft Weber carburettors as this spec is (leading to these being commonly known as 'Downdraft' cars), or 415 horsepower in U.S. market models equipped with Bosch fuel injection to meet emissions standards. American-spec cars also got larger, heavier impact bumpers than their European counterparts and different engine fuel system because of stricter emission requirement. This particular model, delivered new in London and imported to Australia over 20+ years ago, is one of the highly sought-after versions. It comes with the rare, factory original, OZ five-hole dished rims, fully refurbished and painted in gold, mounted with Pirelli tires, along with ALL her original books, manuals, leather factory wallet, history and the her iconic high-rear wing.

Only 610 Countach QVs were built between 1985 and 1988, with just 33 of them being right-hand-drive versions—making this an exceptionally rare and valuable find. It is believed that out of the original 33 RHD cars built during this period only 23 cars remain in this restored condition, making this a blue chip investment globally. This actual Countach was chosen by Wheels Magazine due to her overall immaculate presentation and importance of what she is and will be a major feature in this December final issue under 'Modern Classic' . This just another high quality collectable classic car to which YTG is a proud partner supplying more then 8 unique and rare collectable and special cars so far past and future magazine shoots, a confirmation by the countries most coveted and recognised motoring magazine as to the quality of YTG cars.

This truly is an opportunity never to be repeated as this is the first time this stunning Italian supermodel has been offered on the global market. With similar models selling internationally for upwards of £850,000 plus the conversion rate, plus all the taxes you would not land under $2m, this is exceptional value, especially when you factor all the extra costs associated in the purchasing and importing a car of this calibre from overseas. This prime example is here and hopefully stays here! Gorgeous, stunning and beautiful with timeless elegance that is generational and one of the best classic car investments you can make.

Ferrari 308GTB Vetroresina 1/40 ever built 1976 Ferrari 308 GTB Manual Vetroresina Dry Sump/Fiberglass

1976 Ferrari 308GTB Coupe - Very Rare & Highly Collectable - Vetroresina / Dry Sump Fibreglass Body - 1 of ONLY 40 RHD examples ever built

**** FERRARI CLASSICHE APPROVED AND COMPLETED........We are truly honoured to present an exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire one of the most coveted Ferraris of the 1970s—this stunning, concours-quality 1976 Ferrari 308GTB “Vetroresina,” featuring the highly desirable dry sump and lightweight fibreglass body. Delivered new in the U.K. by Ferrari Concessionaires of London in July 1976 to Mr F.G. Cambellton, this matching-numbers example is accompanied by its complete original toolkit, workshop manuals, books, original leather wallet, and period-correct Ferrari sales catalogue.

With just 712 Vetroresina examples produced globally, fewer than 150 in right-hand drive, and ONLY 40 built combining both fibreglass construction and dry sump lubrication, this represents an extraordinarily rare and highly collectible Ferrari suited to the most discerning global collections. Build #31, this is an early production vehicle showing just 12,400 miles from new, supported by documented ownership history and only three custodians in total—two of whom have resided in Australia. Included in its provenance is the original sales order, historical photographs from its partial restoration in the U.K., and records of its eight-year display at the Bridgnorth Motor Museum in England. It was subsequently entrusted to renowned Ferrari specialist Mr Nick Cartwright for comprehensive mechanical restoration.

Personally imported to Australia in the 1990s by its previous custodian, the car underwent a further restoration between 2018–2020, addressing both mechanical components and exterior presentation. Notably, the factory Sabbia leather interior remains original and untouched, aside from a period-correct Ferrari carpet set. Completing the car are its original 14-inch Campagnolo alloy wheels, fitted with correct Michelin tyres, further reinforcing its authenticity and period correctness. This is a truly exceptional 308GTB that stands as a benchmark example—well-positioned to excel at Ferrari concours and prestigious classic car events based on originality, provenance, and presentation alone.

The Pininfarina-designed 308GTB was developed to rival Porsche in both performance and market presence, and over time, the 308 Vetroresina has proven to be one of Ferrari’s most significant and defining road cars of the era—embodying Italy’s engineering excellence and design passion. Unveiled at the 1975 Paris Motor Show as a complement to the Dino 308GT4, it was penned by Leonardo Fioravanti, responsible for some of Ferrari’s most iconic designs. Early-build examples such as this are especially prized, featuring the dry sump lubrication system, single distributor, more aggressive cam profiles, and single outlet exhaust. The dry sump configuration also enabled a lower centre of gravity, enhancing handling dynamics and overall performance.

Early 308 Vetroresina models were primarily produced for the U.K. and European markets, with a stronger emphasis on performance, reflecting Ferrari’s motorsport pedigree at its core. The lightweight fibreglass construction delivers sharper handling, reduced weight, and a far more raw, engaging driving experience—qualities deeply rooted in Maranello’s DNA. Today, these cars are widely regarded as the “crown jewel” of the 308 lineage and are increasingly recognised as blue-chip collector assets.

In terms of rarity, originality, and documented provenance, this example represents a true global benchmark. Having remained within private collections for over 40 years and showing just 12,400 miles, it is quite possibly one of the lowest-mileage, most original 308GTB Vetroresina examples available anywhere in the world today. An investment-grade Ferrari of the highest calibre, destined to be appreciated for generations to come.

We accept 99% of all cryptocurrencies and work with leading finance and insurance partners to provide tailored funding solutions through over 15 major lenders. Extended warranty options, including roadside assistance, as well as nationwide delivery, can be arranged.
