We are a registered club with the Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs SA Inc and are able to issue Conditional Registration on Historic and Left Hand drive vehicles. hosts a monthly meet for pre 1980 / chrome bumpered vehicles, which is held on the forth Sunday of every month at Mile End Home. e N Chrome has been designed to be a relaxed event to provide the opportunity for owners of classic vehicles to cruise, banter and share their vehicles with fellow enthusiast and the public. There are no prizes or awards, Coffee N Chrome is just that, grab a coffee and enjoy the chrome. Those that attend Coffee N Chrome have an appreciation for all types automobiles and believe that classic vehicles should be ‘driven, not hidden’. Coffee N Chrome Inc. @ Mile End Home is a pre 1980 / Chrome bumpered event, whilst we appreciate all vehicles, this club and event is specific to vehicles from that era. If you present in a vehicle outside this requirement, you will be asked to park elsewhere.

On behalf of Coffee N Chrome committee and Volunteers we would like to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a safe new year.
We can't wait to see you all at the last meet of the year December 27th 2025.
For our little cnc attendees we have free Hot Wheels cars (limited to 1 per person) (limited supplies) Located on the eastern entrance.
Once again we can't wait to catch up with you all.

We have cancelled this months Coffee n Chrome due to expectant weather over the week and into the weekend. We will be back in August and look forward to seeing everyone. "Driven, not hidden".

We are often asked why don't you run a morning meet anymore?

When we first started Coffee N Chrome 7 years ago, we had different trading hours on Sundays. This allowed us to set up and pull down, before shoppers started coming into the center. In order for us to do this now. It would mean that we would have to set up, pull down and have the meet, all before 8:30 am. Whilst this is achievable, it would mean a huge amount of work for our small team. Hence, why we have not been running morning meets.

We then get asked, why don't you move to another location, so you can do the morning events?

We have in the past and continue to look for alternative locations to host Coffee N Chrome. However, most locations don't want car events. That's the simple truth. Our community has had some bad press over the past few years and when we try and negotiate terms, we hit a shut door. We have all seen the issues other events have had and how many events have now ceased. This is directly as a result of poor behavior by a small handful of individuals. Sadly, the ripple effect, has impacted on many clubs and events.

As a club, we have always done things above board. We have insurance, we hold a lease with Mile End and we have a management plan. This is what we use our membership funds for. To ensure that everyone who attends knows that we conscious of keeping everyone safe.
