⚠️🔧 Featured Fridays 🔧⚠️

We're teaming up with our friends on the east coast for this week's feature, Elite Diesel Performance as they have now completed the mechanical work and tuning on Corey's Ranger!

I had a good chat with Corey after his modifications and tuning was all done, and he said he was absolutely stoked with the level of attention to detail and customer service from Elite. There's a reason that they're one of our main partner workshops - if youre in QLD give them a shout! 📩💬👬

Corey has been slowly but surely setting his Ranger up for some towing and touring - with his new van on order he's looking forward to seeing more of this great country 🇦🇺 he's got our Stage 1 turbo with intake pipe, our twin transmission coolers, intercooler upgrade and silicone intake pipes, and of course tuned to suit. He was shocked at the difference after the tuning, lets put it that way 🫢😆🔥

‼️🚨 Let this be your reminder to remain on top of your scheduled servicing and maintenance🚨‼️

📸These are some photos that our mechanics have taken over the past couple of weeks, and serve as a reminder of what CAN happen when maintenance is delayed or servicing schedules are overlooked.

I know that we can be hard to get into, but there's a reason for that, and it's because our customers know that we're as invested in their vehicle as they are. It's part of our routine to be thorough, and find the issues before they become a bigger problem🖤

Have your vehicle serviced every 10,000km. Dont listen to people online saying "it will be fine, mine's not been serviced in 20k with no issues" - yes that person likely has no idea that their timing chain is rattling and about to fail 😆

Have your transmission serviced at around 80k, and then every 60-80k after that. We do the first trans service with the thermostat bypass valve. 🔧

Follow our preventive maintenance (for 3.2) tips at the recommended kms. Parts aren't made to last forever. 👨🏼‍🔧

Welcome back to our Friday feature! Today we have Tom's PX2, another of our long-time customers who has been making the trip for.... a fair few years now 🔥
His Ranger is kitted out with our modifications, most recently he had one of our Stage 1 turbocharger upgrades fitting along with our turboback exhaust and tuned to suit - check out those tow tune gains 🤤 This one was one of the first upgrades flowed and calibrated on our new machine!

Over the years we've also done our twin transcoolers, intercooler upgrade, and lots of maintenance including logbook servicing and inspections.
Tom, now youre all set to head off on your trip this month! Can't wait to hear all about it when you're back at the workshop next. 🏕🚙🙌

Incorrect EGR programming can cause a multitude of issues as a result. This customer was on the Nullarbor, on her way to WA from the east coast when her 3.2 went into limp mode with multiple codes. 😩
She brought it to us… have a look at what we found. 🕵🏼👨‍🔧 bit of a long one but worth the watch.

This week’s feature is a new member of our team… to us its more than just a piece of equipment, it’s a very proud moment in our business that cements our commitment to perfection-level quality for our customers and just doing the very best we can every day we come to work. This is our brand new Cimat turbo balancing and calibration machine, the Turbo Test Duo Expert.

Cimat for many years have maintained one of the best names when it comes to turbo testing and verification and this is their Ferrari of models, in terms of both testing cores for high speed balance errors, vnt position calibration and boost pressure results to verify that any turbo that goes on this bench and passes, will absolutely 1000% perform correctly when its installed onto your car. No matter if it’s a Ranger, Landcruiser, Dmax, anything! This bench is a better and more accurate test than putting the turbocharger on the car itself👏🏼

This year we are aiming to provide more of an inside look at the things we do, such as the development and punishment we put parts through, as well as ourselves during the testing phases. Our turbocharger journey went from outsourcing the builds, to then taking on that work in house due to time constraints and issues, to then out sourcing testing work, to then investing in enough equipment to build the quality turbocharger products you know and love from us, and now owning one of the highest spec, world leading pieces of equipment to ensure we can only get better while applying that to new models of turbochargers in the future! 🔥📈

Take a look at the tests we perform on each and every single turbo that gets built in house, this is what occurs during the lead time of when your turbocharger is purchased 🖤🔧
