🎄Ive got a personal call out today, for those of us who are going into the Christmas period with the ability to buy gifts for our children and family members, please spare a thought for WA children who are in foster care.
This is something very close to my heart, i truly believe that every single child should be able to experience the magic of Christmas. I know this looks different for different families, and even more so for foster families and children, however we have the collective power to ensure that all children receive a gift.
Operation Sunshine is a non-profit WA organisation who distributes presents for WA children in foster care at Christmas. Most of the teenagers ask for a gift card, whilst there are babies through to children of 10/12 years old who ask Santa for specific gifts.
This fundraiser is solely for the teenagers asking for gift cards, however next month, Operation Sunshine start releasing forms that show each child in foster care & what they’re asking Santa for, for Christmas. Our family chooses one child each and we go shopping together to purchase ‘our children’ their gifts. However its often the teenagers asking for gift cards who are not chosen, hence this fundraiser.

We have personally donated $5000 to this particular fundraiser and i reach out to you today to help.

So, I first met RJ when he popped in to the workshop to discuss some work for his PX3. He was concerned his converter was on its way out so we made a plan for him to drop his Ranger to us whilst he travelled to Japan, and in that time we did an absolute shhhh!tload of work to it 😅

We agreed that his converter was slipping during our diagnostic time, and then recommended a whole heap of work as well to ensure the vehicle’s longevity- including, HOA billet converter, HOA engine bay cooling hoses, new injectors, oem valvebody replacement, bypass valve, belt tensioner, belt & pulleys, an Auto Labs Performance Centre deep cast pan, and tuning of transmission and engine to suit towing 👌🏼

Here’s a snippet of RJ’s feedback with his monitored data to us, absolutely beyond stoked to have yet another awesome person join the HOA family 👏🏼👏🏼

“Used to average 13.5-14 L/100 on a 350 km trip. Now 9.5-10 L/100 on same route.

Trans temps ran 95-104 degrees, now less than 75.
Coolant temp was around 95-100.. now 80's

Very impressive guys.

Nice towing gains made on the 3.2 Everest🔥
We had Jake and Emily’s in last week as a rebooking for work we picked when we first saw their vehicle for a logbook service back in July. 🔧
We did a full transmission service with bypass valve as the oil was very dark, along with rear brake replacement and handbrake adjustment, finished with some egr work and tuning of transmission and engine. 👌🏼

All of our tunes are written in house on our dyno, developed with our own vehicles. In a day and age where there is apparently a tuner on every corner and AI rampant in the industry, make that your first question, who's actually doing my tuning?

FIVE years of HOA in KELMSCOTT 🖤

Branching out on our own after operating the business alongside another workshop for years prior, this was a huge move for us. Our first born baby was only three months old and we were scared.

We pour everything back into our business. We went from worrying about making our rent payments and not paying Michael a wage, to reinvesting our earnings into new tools, machinery, more space, staff, product development, and much much more.

We invested in ourselves and are taking today to feel so proud of what we’ve achieved.
