Customer came in after having a minor bingle in their 1996 HSV Manta. Luckily vehicle was insured and we were able to get it back on the road for hopefully many more years to come.

The FC Holden, equipped with an LS1 Turbo 400 and a 9-inch differential, presented significant challenges with its existing differential configuration. Consequently, we opted for a comprehensive differential overhaul. This involved integrating an Advanced Race Fabrication sheet metal 9-inch housing, a Gazard Brothers suspension system, and Wilwood brakes on all four corners. Furthermore, a new crossmember was installed to optimize the engine and gearbox angles. The project also included a new transmission cooler and a complete service.

We believe this vehicle now represents a highly robust and formidable machine.

Core Duties
✅Log Book Servicing: Perform scheduled maintenance to manufacturer standards.
✅Safety Checks: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
✅Mechanical Diagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical issues including but not limited to, engine, brake, suspension, and steering
✅Electrical Fault-Finding: Use modern scan tools to diagnose complex electrical systems.
✅General Repairs: Complete component replacements and mechanical repairs efficiently.

Requirements
✅Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
✅Licence: Current manual Australian driver's licence.
✅Experience: Proven track record in a professional workshop environment.
✅Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency with diagnostic equipment.
✅Traits: High attention to detail, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
