๐น Heading into the ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐๐๐๐ it has been unfortunate there was not communication to stakeholders including membership of a move to absorb the Coolgardie Racing Club into the Kalgoorlie fraternity of the constitutional clubs. Just another day in racing in WA.
๐ Nice to see recognition of Coolgardie Racing Club through interview questions by the team at Racing WA TV, of the financial contributions passed to the Kalgoorlie fraternity over the years, as they (Coolgardie) remained a financially supportive club to the racing industry providing over many years to the infrastructure maintenance and upgrades at the historic heritage complex at Kalgoorlie, including contribution to the refurbishment and conservation for the KBRC Inc to expand offices in the historic Totalisator building, modern stable and stall upgrades over the years and of course the most recent financial contributions for course infrastructure upgrades also in support of water management.

๐คฉ We are very excited to see The KBRC Inc, SIGNPOST MUSEUM is now displaying the historic Whitechapel Bell delivered under the former competent Secretary Charles William CROPPER for the Kalgoorlie Racing Club (fmr) in year 1904 as part of the now obsolete racing management and timing system.
โ๏ธ This obsolete mechanical starting, timing and clearance system is available for expert interpretation through Heritage Management Approaches, the Wire and Rope Barrier inclusive of pulley system, the T. Gaunt Chronograph, the Whitechapel Bell and the documentation of the procurement by C.W. Cropper along with the installation diagrams of at that time advanced wiring of timing points at distance marks of the course proper is all available and photographed for posterity and protection of historic heritage awaiting opportunity. Collections WA remain available for support for catalogue and inventory of collections for those who so desire to incorporate Heritage Management Approaches fundamentals that include retention of Intellectual Property to collection owners.

TIP: Charles William CROPPER was recruited from the Kalgoorlie Racing Club following his tenure and achievements at Kalgoorlie that included the infastructure builds that today is included in the State Register of Heritage Places of Western Australia, he (Charlie Cropper) was then employed as the Secretary of the Australian Jockey Club introducing the Rules of Australian Racing. Take a look the Timer of the Day listed in AJC record is none other than T. Gaunt, the innovator and supplier of the early Australian Racing Chronographs, including the Western Australian Turf Club trading as Perth Racing historic chronograph displayed at their Ascot Head Quarters Offices and the historic Kalgoorlie Racing Club chronograph displayed at the KBRC Inc oncourse Museum & Gallery. Today it is the likes of Tag Heuer and Longines for precision sports chronographs .....
