Here at Geartorque we do all mechanical work specialising in automatic & manual transmissions. Most of our work is highperformance transmissions but we also do late model computer controlled vehicles. We have all the tools & experience necessary to the job.

Today we are building a 1500 hp power glide transmission. We use Sonnax billet twin ring servo with Support, Sonnax hardned stator tube,Sonnax billet 2000 hp 169 gear set. A 10 clutch drum with 10 frictions. A billet clutch hub. A wide band and a Australian made PTC Transbrake valve body custom-made for us.

RB30 to TH400 we just finished for a customer, suit 1000fwhp. This one is a bit special as we had a custom transbrake made.

It is a forward shift pattern with engine braking, tranbrake in 1st & 2nd gears, safe nuetral & no need to apply transbrake to backup.

Extra frictions, wide bushings, Transbrake, deep alloy pan & custom LS bellhousing SFI approved.

New parts include billet input shaft, 34 element sprag & drum, billet valvebody, Hi-energy frictions etc etc
