As said in previous post we beat mother nature for once great day racing and every one drove with their heads and in the spirit of dirt karting having fun doing what we love

THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS

Wow what an amazing day of racing mother nature was very kind apart from a few sprinkles here and there we got through the meeting in record time.

As is customery our first post goes to the volunteers they are the most important part of any race meeting, and it was amazing to see new faces as well as old to make the meeting run smoothly.

Michelle on the start tower nailing it as always Michelle has put her hand up for all meetings at the track even when her family is not racing what a legend

The track crew Norm, Dave, Max and AJ being up there the whole week prepping the track, spraying the weeds, the mowing it doesn't do itself and these guys step up week in week out for our club

Tara, Josh, Sam, Megan, Aaron and keera in the Tower. With megan getting called to work was a big team effort with everyone chipping in.

Jason and Stefan on the outgrid, Naree and Tiani on the ingrid, Lauren and Steve at sign in it ran smoothe as 🧊 putting their hands up without hesitation.

Ash, Dom and all the lovely ladies in the canteen amazing, delicious food as always

🚨🚨RACE MEETING HOUSE KEEPING🚨🚨

- PIT PARKING please see below
yellow areas are for members and helpers only
orange area general pit parking
IF you are park in the incorrect area you will be asked to move

- with over 100 Noms means NO cars in the pits (unless you work out the back of you ute) please unhitch and park your car on the hall side of the track

-There is strictly NO car movement in the pits once racing has started until the last race of the of the day, If you plan on leaving park your car/trailer on the outside of the pits and walk your kart out when you're ready to leave

- NO parking on the road leading into the pits this must stay clear

-Tear Off retainers MUST be fitted we cannot have these flying around the farmers paddocks (Last racing meeting this was extremely bad, so it is your responsibility

Last but not least have fun its a club day, race, and enjoy a drink with your mates after the meeting at the Bar.

Morning everyone Happy Friday :)

Please see below Race Order and timetable for tomorrow's event please be on time and punctual it helps the meeting run much smoother.

I want to put a big shout out to everyone that put their hand up to help with all positions being filled it's great to see.

125H and 100 Open driver you would have received an email from DKOA regarding Raceiver Trail you are required to bring headphones that have a 3.5 jack on them please ensure you bring them as we do not have spares.

Classes to be scrutineered
- JNR Light
- P-platers
- SEL and Novice drivers

With a lot of our regular volunteers wanting to have a race this weekend we really need so new people/members to step up and help willing to assist with training for all the positions listed

Also during the busy periods ie breakfast/ lunch if we could get some assistance in the Canteen by some of the racing mums will be much appreciated

🚨🚨NOMINATIONS OPEN🚨🚨

August club day meeting nominations now open on the App and will close on Wednesday the 19th August at 8pm so get them in.

Reminder this is also the last meeting prior to the 2026 Curtis Electrical WA state Title @ Great Southern Kart Club so great chance to get some laps, have some fun and fine tune prior to the seriousness of title racing.
