We had an absolute AMAZING time at Rottnest Island! 😍

It was one of those days where you just stop and think, “Yep… this is why we travel!”

The next minute — AMBUSH!

The parrots and quokkas clearly decided they were coming along for the adventure and made themselves right at home!

No invitation.
No luggage.
No asking politely.

They just showed up like, “G’day… we’re coming with you.”

At this rate, we’re going to need to start charging for passengers! 🤣

🎥 OKAY… HERE’S THE VIDEO! 😂🪨

Remember when I said I almost fell to my death at the Castle Rock Granite Skywalk?!

Well… I wasn’t being dramatic. 🤣
Somehow we made it to the top, survived the climb AND lived to tell the tale! 🙌

The views were absolutely breathtaking… although I’m pretty sure half of that was from fear. 😂

Another activity where I almost fell to my death… but hey, at least the view was breathtaking! 🤣😂

The Castle Rock Granite Skywalk was absolutely incredible — climbing, scrambling, squeezing through rocks and questioning all of my life choices along the way! 😳🫣

But once we made it up there, the views were 100% worth the panic, shaky legs and questionable decisions! 😍🌄

Well… I almost passed out, but I DID IT! 🙌

Karen and I took on the straight-up climb and after a very shaky start (and questioning ALL of our life choices ), we pushed through and made it up!

By the time I reached the top, I was absolutely POOPED… only to look down and realise…

WE HAD TO GET BACK DOWN! 😩😂

Honestly, whoever designed this place really missed an opportunity to add a SLIDE for the trip back down.

But we made it, conquered the fear, soaked up the views and ticked another adventure off the bucket list!
