Been quite a while since updates on my page. Wife won’t let me retire so I’ll keep plugging away for a few years yet. Now I’m not a Ford man but this car definitely deserves some attention. Very nice car even if it hurts to say so 😜.

Well the world threw everything at us to try to stop us from having Mark & Kylie’s 1942 Jeep from leading Anzac parade. From wrong parts to replacement parts taking a little holiday to Sydney instead of coming from Tamworth to Inverell and then a suspected seized engine only to be a starter motor jamming solid. Thanks to Mark Hawkins for making me wake up early so he could do a quick wiring upgrade and then we decided to drop starter motor a touch to finally free up engine. One hit of the key and it was off and running just in time for a quick tub then off to parade. It’s been an honour to work on this little beast. The black eye it gave me was worth it.

Bit of a milestone reached recently so thought I’d present Sam Gilligan a little something for being 1000th invoice. I actually didn’t take notice but invoice was in mums name so I bought bottle of pink Gin for Liz Brisset. I’m sure between them they’ll work it out.

It’s been a few weeks of ups and downs of late. Those who know the feeling will know what I mean 🤬. This is crankshaft bolt and leftovers in crank snout. Luckily came up with a fix. Even the simplest jobs find a way turn to sh*te sometimes.

Just a quick post directed at all small businesses out there. You probably didn’t know it but the government is giving out a $3,000 grant To go to the cost of licenses rates etc etc. Apparently it’s been out for a while and it’s nearly run out So you only have until 24th June to make the application then only until the 30th to submit all your paperwork. It’s not long but probably well worth it to give your business a little boost. Just google small business COVID-19 grants and follow the links through service New South Wales. Have to have less than 1.2 million turnover which I am just under 😝 . Also a little side note just to let everyone know that you don’t have to go back to car dealers to keep your warranty. As long as the mechanic is a registered business you don’t lose your warranty by servicing it with them.
