📢 Saturday Morning Reopening Announcement 🚨🚨🚨🚨

Maurice Grasso Motors will be returning to opening most Saturday mornings from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

It’s hard to believe a full year has passed since Maurice suffered a serious ladder accident, snapping his leg, requiring surgery and spending a month in hospital. After a long recovery, he is ready to resume Saturday mornings back in the showroom, however lifting duties will still be limited, so if you’re picking up leaf springs, bar work or heavier items, you may need to lend a hand.

Please note: 🔧 The workshop itself will not be operating on Saturdays 🚗 Our Pelican Street rear off-street parking area will not be available during Saturday opening hours.

A reminder that when it comes to 4x4 suspension, bar work and accessories, we offer one of the largest ranges of brands and products on the Cassowary Coast — all delivering great value for money from the region’s biggest dedicated facility.

Today we fitted an Ironman 4x4 IM2.5 Suspension system to suit this 2018 N80 Hilux, setting it up perfectly for towing a camper trailer while still maintaining excellent ride comfort.

We recently supplied and wired up an Ironman 4x4 Bright Sabre Dual Row Light Bar (ILBDR003B) to this Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series. Space was limited, but the owner wanted maximum usable light output. The end result turned out fantastic.

⚠️ Hilux Knocking on Cold Start? Using Excessive Fuel? Or Lacking Power? Don’t Ignore It ⚠️

This 2008 KUN26 Hilux came into the workshop for a new set of genuine quality Japanese Denso injectors and a tappet cover assembly after travelling just under 400,000km.

During the repair, we found the injector seats had previously been damaged by incorrect removal methods. Using our specialised diesel tooling, we were able to correctly reface the injector seats and carry out the repair the right way.

If your 3.0L Hilux is knocking on cold start-up, smoking excessively, hard starting or lacking power, worn injectors could be the cause.

👀 Vision & Vehicle Protection 👀

This Nissan Navara D23 NP300 came in for a practical upgrade package, with the installation of Clearview Compact Towing Mirrors and an Ironman 4x4 Fender Flare Kit for added side protection and touring capability.

The snorkel made the driver’s side flare installation a little tricky, but the final result turned out fantastic and offer real protection for the side of the vehicle.👌
