WANTED: 1959 Dodge custom royal

Alan has restored many cars in his time but the one car he would love to have a chance at restoring, is the elusive 1959 Dodge custom royal. Pictured below.

The 1959 Dodge Custom Royal pictured is a rare bird. For one thing, it's one of only 984 fliptop Custom Royals built for 1959 (base-priced at $3422).

Pinstripes can make a car pop.

Did you know, in the beginning pin-striping was painted onto a vehicle by hand?
Artists with a steady hand and a special paintbrush did some amazing pioneer work.
These days however pin stripes are a thin vinyl tape or paint.
