We’re excited to welcome Darren as our new Branch Manager in Tamworth, and in many ways, it already feels like a homecoming.

After stepping away from HM seven years ago, Darren spent his time at WesTrac Tamworth, progressing into a Workshop Supervisor role and gaining deep experience assembling engines like the Caterpillar C18. It was during those rebuilds that he realised how much he missed the full engine reconditioning process - not just assembly, but the machining, precision work and craftsmanship that bring an engine back to life.

He says his first few weeks back at HM GEM have been energising. Darren shared that returning felt “like coming home,” and he’s excited about the opportunity to help the branch grow, reconnect with long‑standing customers and strengthen relationships across the region.

Outside of work, Darren and his wife enjoy travelling and tending to their two acres of gardens - a hobby that requires the same patience and care he brings to the workshop.

We’re thrilled to have him leading the Tamworth team and shaping the next chapter of HM GEM in the region.

We're proud to introduce Sen to our National Sales Team in our Dandenong office, who brings over 28 years of experience in engine reconditioning and machinery to HM GEM.

Sen’s career has spanned production, dispatch, stores, purchasing, job management and overseeing machine shop and repair operations, including many years at All Head Services. This hands‑on background shapes his practical, relationship‑focused approach to sales today.

What drives Sen is helping customers find the right solution and providing products they can trust.

He says, "My first few weeks at HM GEM have been very positive. The team has been friendly, welcoming, and made it easy for me to settle in. What has stood out most is the supportive culture and the strong team effort, which makes it a great place to work."

Outside of work, Sen enjoys bike riding, football, billiards, and spending time with family and friends.
