One of our regular customers has brought us his NSX for a bit of an engine freshen up.

With these cars now over 30 years old, staying on top of maintenance is a big part of preserving them properly.

We replaced the NSX’s LMAs and carried out a major service including a timing belt and water pump replacement. While the engine was out, we also installed new coolant and vacuum lines throughout, along with a new clutch, engine mounts and sway bar links. The factory exhaust was also refitted to bring everything back to how it rolled out of the factory.

Gotta say, haven't seen OG honda Packaging for quite sometime!!

This is Brand New IAB assembly for the Honda NSX, Common issue on the NSX with the butterfly screws comming lose overtime which can cause catastrophic engine fauliure, Normally we will replace it with SOS Delete kit, but this time it will be a OEM replacement.

Project R34: PART 3

We’re getting closer to getting everything back into the car.

The rear diff and GETRAG transmission have both been fully gone through and restored. Starting with the diff:

✔️ Housing stripped and powder coated black
✔️ Flanges refinished
✔️ Hardware zinc coated
✔️ Rear cover vapour blasted
✔️ All bearings and seals replaced

The transmission and transfer case have also been gone through thoroughly:

✔️ Vapour blasted casing
✔️ Bearings and seals replaced
✔️ Synchros and sleeves inspected
✔️ Hardware zinc coated
✔️ New hoses installed

As with the rest of the build, everything has been cleaned, checked and rebuilt before going back in.

Here is a first look at the Dry Carbon Z Tune Type Fenders for the R34 GTR

Made with 5mm Honeycomb Pre-preg Dry Carbon Sheet, it offers perfect structural integrity with extensive amount of weight saving.

Each Fender Weight just 1.25kg with the mesh.

Will be proceeding with installation to confirm the quality of fitment in the comming days. 😁😁
