• Lead our workshop team, coordinate daily operations, manage workflow, and ensure quality workmanship and excellent customer services.

DIESEL FITTER
• Carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs on trucks, earthmoving equipment, and light vehicles.

As our business has grown, we’ve realised that many people don’t know what HGW stands for or the full range of services we provide.

We wanted a name that clearly tells people who we are, where we are and what we do.

Hughenden Mechanical Services better reflects our workshop and the services we provide across Hughenden and North West Queensland.

While our name and branding are changing, the business behind it isn’t. You’ll still find the same local team, same workshop and same commitment to keeping our customers moving.

HGW Contracting is seeking a motivated and reliable 1st Year Apprentice Diesel Fitter to join our team in 2027.

This is a great opportunity to learn the trade while working alongside experienced mechanics in a busy workshop servicing trucks, earthmoving equipment and light vehicles across Hughenden and North West Queensland.
