Common rail diesels are great when they’re looked after properly.

A lot of modern dual cab utes are doing everything now, work during the week, towing on weekends, school runs, beach trips and long 4WD touring trips.

A few things worth keeping on top of:
- Quality fuel and regular filter changes
- Proper servicing, not just oil and filter
- Cooling system checks before towing or touring
- DPF and sensor issues checked early
- Diff, transfer and gearbox oils inspected
- Brakes and suspension checked, especially once weight is added

If you’ve got a common rail diesel ute and you’re starting to notice rough running, warning lights, loss of power, hard starting or it just not driving right, it’s worth getting it looked over before it becomes a bigger job.

One thing we hear a lot from customers is that they actually feel comfortable bringing their car to us.

They know what’s happening, what parts are being used, what needs doing now and what can wait.

We aim to turn work around quickly, use quality parts, genuine parts where possible and keep pricing fair without cutting corners.
