This vehicle was brought to our Tyre Plus Warners Bay store for a registration inspection. During the inspection, we found that the left rear tyre was in very poor condition, with the tread almost completely worn out.

Do spare tyres really cost that much for new cars?

It seems some manufacturers are choosing to save a little money and space by replacing a proper spare tyre with a small repair kit—and simply ticking the box.

This Jaecoo 5 hit the pothole causing significant damage to the tyre. Unfortunately, the damage was beyond repair and required a complete tyre replacement.

The vehicle was towed to our service centre yesterday at around 4:30 pm for new tyres.

What was supposed to be a trip to Brisbane has now become much more expensive for the owner, with the added cost of new tyres and an unexpected hotel stay in Newcastle.

A spare tyre might seem like simple but when something goes wrong, it can save drivers a lot of time, money and inconvenience.

This tidy little Hyundai i30 was driven all the way to our workshop in Warners Bay from Bulladelah, NSW—around a two-hour trip.

The owner absolutely loves the car, but unfortunately the engine was burning more than 2 litres of oil every two weeks.

It only takes an extra second to stop and think which fuel suits your vehicle before making a simple yet costly mistake.

This 2025 Mazda was accidentally filled with diesel and driven to the local shops before it stalled and wouldn't restart. The vehicle was towed to our Warners Bay workshop last week.

Because it's a nearly new car, we're taking no chances. We'll be fitting brand-new genuine Mazda injectors and a genuine fuel pump, thoroughly flushing the entire fuel system, and making sure everything is cleaned and tested before getting this Mazda back on the road with confidence.

We highly recommend that if any warning light appears on your dashboard, you stop the vehicle safely and seek professional technical advice as soon as possible.

This vehicle came to us after suffering an engine overheating issue. During our initial inspection, we found that one of the drive pulleys had seized, and the drive belt was in very poor condition. There were also clear indications of a possible head gasket failure.

Ignoring warning lights can turn a minor repair into a major engine failure. If your vehicle shows any warning lights or unusual symptoms, have it inspected promptly to help prevent costly damage.

This workhorse for our local builder was booked in for its Roadworthy inspection at our Warners bay store, upon quick inspection our technician found out both front wheel bearing were demaged making funny noise while tyre rotation after a quick chat with customer who replied us yeah there was noise while driving,its now its getting that much needed bearing fixed so that it can be again back to road towing a big work trailer.

This Ford was driven to our Warners Bay store experiencing misfire and power loss. Upon a quick investigation, we discovered that there was no engine oil in the engine and the spark plugs were in the worst possible condition. The customer was unsure when the car was last serviced, but was fortunate that it made it to us.
