A little bit of history on Johnny Hog;
When I started my apprenticeship, Light Engine & Motorcycle, I was employed by Stanco Motorcycles in Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. Stanco was a distributor for Vespa, Lambretta & Norton. I didn't last long; I was lucky enough to get my next job in the Sales & Spare Parts department at Millage Brothers who were the Yamaha distributors at the time. They also owned a subsiderey who were the distributors at the time for Hodaka, BSA, Ossa, HARLEY DAVIDSON.
The tension wrenches I'm using to torque the heads are a 124ci TC Motor, S&S hot set up, was my birthday present when I was a kid from my dad. It was a Warren & Brown. It has been tensioning Harley Davidson V-Twin Performance Engines for 55 years. The rest of the images are Screamin' Eagle Hurricane cylinder heads. They have a massive inlet valve, they have a deport in the inlet, not the usual S&S superstock or CNC heads we use, they are also supplied with a manifold for an EFI Engine. More on that later, the pistons are a special a copy of the Pro Stock Suzuki pistons we use. They run a 16.5:1 comp. These pistons are set up for 12.5:1 ceramic coated. The cam chest is 675 S&S gear drive and the roller rockers 1.725:1 ratio with a set of racing push rods and lifters. The engines finished, there's a lot more work to do before the bikes ready to show you, I think I'll hand this over to Locky to ride.
