Do you know where your spare tyre is located? Some are located in the boot, some are under the car (mainly in utes). Checked the tyre pressure lately? It’s a good idea to do that, ideally before you actually need to use it!

My ‘ABS’ light is on – what do I do?

ABS or (anti-lock braking systems) saves lives. ABS has been around for quite a while and operates by preventing the wheels from locking up during braking, thereby maintaining tractive contact with the road surface and allowing the driver to maintain more control over the vehicle.

If you see the ABS light appear on your dashboard, then there's likely a problem that needs fixing. Although an illuminated ABS light doesn't mean that your car has no brakes. But beware that you'll no longer have the assistance of ABS when braking hard.

Your first port of call should be to check your brake fluid levels. Making sure that the reservoir is filled to the level. If you're not comfortable with doing that, give us a call and we would be happy to assist👍
