🚨 Why MOST Learners FAIL Their Driving Test! 🇦🇺

5 common mistakes learners make during their driving test:

1) Not doing proper head checks — especially before moving off, changing lanes or position.

2) Wrong or no indicator use — indicators need to be used correctly and at the right time.

3) Roundabout confusion — incorrect signalling, positioning or giving way can cause problems.

4) Poor speed control — driving too fast, or sometimes unnecessarily slow, can show poor judgement.

5) Parking mistakes — poor observation, positioning and vehicle control can affect your assessment.

Don’t just practise driving—practise the correct habits consistently so they become automatic on test day.

🚨 CAN YOU CROSS A SOLID WHITE LINE? Most Learners Get This WRONG!

Can you cross a solid white line? 🤔

Here’s the answer for Tasmania.

If it’s a single continuous dividing line, you cannot cross it to overtake or make a U-turn.

But there are situations where you may cross it, such as to enter or leave a road, or in certain circumstances to avoid an obstruction.

And if you’re looking at a continuous white edge line, different rules apply — for example, you may cross it in certain situations such as turning or entering/leaving the road.

So don’t just remember ‘solid line = never cross.’
