Two very different ways to go very quickly… and both are off to new homes. 🏁❤️

Our Mercedes-AMG A45 S and Porsche Cayman S have officially found their next Drivers. Best part? There both bloody legends. Typical really.

The A45 S is an outrageous little weapon. Supercar-bothering pace, AWD grip and enough practicality to pretend it was the sensible choice.

The Cayman S takes a different approach: mid-engined, beautifully balanced and proof that outright horsepower isn’t everything when the road starts getting interesting.

We’re going to miss seeing this pair parked out front, but cars like these deserve to be driven, not just admired through the showroom glass.

Congratulations to their new owners. Enjoy every kilometre. 👊

And just like that… we’ve got two empty spaces to fill. 👀

Split tailgates. Seriously underrated. As seen here on our BMW X5M which boasts 414kw of…practicality?!

Four wheels to load? Drop the lower section and you’ve got a perfect loading platform. No leaning over the bumper, no balancing a wheel while trying not to introduce it to the paintwork.

And the clever bit? If you don’t want the wheels rolling back out, just lift the bottom section back up and it becomes a handy little retaining wall. Simple, practical engineering doing exactly what it should.

It’s one of those features you don’t think much about… until you own a car with one. Then every normal tailgate feels slightly defective.

What other car features disappeared that really should have stayed?

It’s never easy when one of your favourite cars is under the weather… 😢💛

Our yellow Mégane RS has been feeling a little poorly lately, and when you spend enough time around these things, some cars become more than just stock on the showroom floor. This one is definitely a favourite.

So, into the workshop she goes for a bit of diagnosis, some TLC and hopefully a speedy recovery. 🔧🩺

Because nobody likes seeing a hot hatch lose its hot.

We’ll keep you posted on what we find and, fingers crossed, have the yellow Mégane back terrorising Tassie tracks again very soon. 💛💨

Sometimes the street outside the showroom becomes part of the display… 👀🔴

Check out one of our fav drivers newest whip, this Honda Civic Type R. We love the high-revving k20 VTEC engine, smooth 6 speed and (in my opinion at least) the fn2 silhouette is ageing well.

No velvet ropes. No boring cars. Get out there and drive ‘em!

We love an A45, especially the updated A45s - it really takes hyper hatch to a whole new level.

A big congratulations to Driver J, the new custodian of this absolutely weaponised Mercedes-AMG A45 S. With 310kW, 500Nm, AWD and a 0–100km/h sprint in under 4 seconds, we suspect that many excuses to one’s self & others will be created in order justify taking this rocket out for a “short drive”.

Thanks for choosing Drive Millennium, Driver J. We hope the A45 S delivers heaps of thrills, zero spills (garage floor or mid corner), a bunch of miles, its weight in smiles (chubby thing)and an entirely unreasonable number of excuses to go for a drive.

This 2015 Audi TT is the kind of car that doesn’t need much introduction. Finished with a 6-speed manual gearbox, it puts you fully in control of every down shift, every power pull with. every bit of that German engineering doing its thing. Makes me shiver.

With just 63,000km on the clock, it’s barely getting started. Clean, tight, and clearly well looked after by its previous mature owner, this TT stands out for all the right reasons.

It’s also been APR Stage 1 tuned, giving it that extra punch it always should’ve had from factory. The APR Stage 1 tune transforms the TT from its factory 230 hp into a genuinely potent 321 hp (239 kW) and 476 Nm, an enormous increase without sacrificing the character that makes the car such a great everyday sports coupe. This car also benefits from an upgraded clutch to help handle the power!

For some perspective, that puts this little front-wheel-drive TT in the same power bracket as some other serious machinery of the era, including the Porsche Cayman S (325 hp) and the BMW M135i (320–326 hp). In a lightweight manual TT, 321 hp makes for a properly entertaining package.

Small, sharp, and seriously fun, this is the kind of car that makes even a short commute feel like an event. And finding another one in this condition, with this spec and mileage, isn’t going to be easy.
