Seven more Drive Smart students on the road this month, including two sets of twins! 🥳🎆
I am so happy for all my students who passed over the month - I am so glad you were all able to demonstrate the skills we have worked on, even without me there on test day. Goes to show that practice is key to good driving habits. 🎊🎉
I arrived back in the country today and have been catching up on all the emails and admin. Getting back in to lessons on Monday! 🙂🚗

You won't see my car around for the next few weeks, but I am just taking a break with the family.

This has been a long time in the planning, but thanks to the last minute efforts of the British Passport Office (🫣), it all came together in the end! 🥳😂

Nine test passes for April! And this was the first month for Drive Smart Fraser Coast to have more manual tests than automatic!

Congratulations to Jayde, Isla, Fletcher, Mack, Will, Jai, Tyson, Tamika and Bailey who all passed their driving test in April! 🥳🎆🤩

As ever, if you plan to have me as your driving instructor - plan ahead! If you leave your inquiries to the last minute, I will likely disappoint you as the lesson bookings are very full through June and into July.

In response to the rising fuel prices, I have been looking at all different ways of keeping costs down for Drive Smart Fraser Coast.

Today I am stoked to announce that there is a new vehicle addition to the Drive Smart fleet!
As of today, you will be able to book lessons in our pedal powered go-kart. This unique vehicle uses no petrol and will combine skill building for the road with a lung busting workout.

Another busy month for Drive Smart Fraser Coast!
Nate, Jill, Angus, Chrean, Ryan, Layla, Charli and Jarrod all passed their driving test in February!

Special mention to Charli, who contacted me in August wanting lessons - but when she discovered there was a bit of a wait for auto lessons, decided to learn manual as she could get in for lessons with me sooner! 😂 Charli passed her test this week and got her manual licence!

Well the first week back at school is done!
I like being back in normal routine again!

What a great start to 2026 it has been!
The emails, messages and calls 📞 keep coming, unfortunately I cannot fit everyone in. 😢
I am so grateful for all the people who recommend me to friends and family 🙏.

Some of the students I have booked in over the Dec/Jan period have been prepared to wait two months for a lesson with me! 👀 Which I definitely see as a compliment and as a sign that I am doing something right!
But I don't want students to have to wait that long if I can help it.

I am trying to ensure that my current students have lessons available to book, and so I have made the decision to remove the online booking link from my website for now.

I will keep fitting in new students where I can, but it is a difficult balance to strike - I want to help everyone, but there are only so many hours in the day.
