Two car recovery today , with a twist . An aluminium ramp wedged between rear tyre and tow bar acting like a grader blade. Had to winch him out of the muddy ruts to a levelish ground so we could take the wheel off to release the ramp.

I have seen some pretty stupid and dangerous s**t in my years of 4wding and 4wd recoveries but yesterday takes the cake ...

I have seen some pretty stupid and dangerous s**t in my years of 4wding and 4wd recoveries but yesterday takes the cake … they had a ratchet strap like this hooked onto a tow ball. 🤦‍♂️.. luckily I was driving past and stopped to offer some help and saw it before it was too late.

So a couple of weeks ago I did a recovery out bungal forest where two people were out working and got stuck. Today I had to do another recovery in the exact same spot just different bog hole.. both where fairly easy recoveries and both happy to be recovered..

After going to the ladies house to pick her up then a few wrong roads because the lady was unsure where her car was we ended up finding her sons phone that he lost found her car and recovered it with no damage.
