Had an accident? Before you move on, take a few photos.

If it’s safe to do so, these three things can be really useful when reporting an accident or making an insurance claim:

✅ The damage
Take clear photos of all visible damage to your vehicle — including close-ups and wider shots showing where the damage is located.

✅ The position of the vehicles
Photograph the vehicles as they are positioned, if it’s safe and practical to do so. This can help document what happened.

✅ The other vehicle & number plate
Capture the other vehicle, its number plate and any visible damage. Exchange driver and insurance details where required.

📍 Tip: Take more photos than you think you need. You can always delete them later.

And most importantly, put safety first and only take photos when it’s safe to do so.
