❄️ Right now is the Perfect Time to Get to Know Your Vehicle ❄️
At Sitting Pretty Driver Training, we teach learners how to use their vehicle controls all year round, but winter is a great reminder of just how important they are.
Do you know how to:
🚗 Turn your demister on quickly to clear a fogged-up windscreen from the inside?
🩵 Turn on rear window demister and use rear window wipers (if fitted)
💡 Switch between your headlights and high beam correctly?
🌫️ Know when (and when not) to use your fog lights?
🌧️ Adjust your windscreen wipers to suit changing rain conditions?
💙 Check and top up your windscreen washer water?
These might seem like simple things, but knowing how to use your vehicle controls confidently means you can keep your eyes on the road and still locate and use these controls with ease.
It's important to understand your vehicle controls so you can be prepared for all conditions.
Winter is here, so next time you head out, take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with these controls. Your future self will thank you for it!
