Navara came in with a long crank and a no-start. Codes were pointing at a $7,000 injector pump replacement.
Something didn’t feel right. We put it on the scope.
The starter motor was arcing so badly it was dumping electrical noise directly onto the crank sensor signal, the ECU was seeing garbage cam inputs and didn’t know what to do. Add a faulty earth cable on top of that and the car had no chance.
We rebuilt the starter in-house, replaced the earth and put it back on the scope. Clean signal. Starts first turn.
