A dog has been found on the Valley/Greenvale Road, approximately 5 km on the Greenvale side of the cricket pitch! Hopefully we can find her owners 🙏

Family owned and operated businesses really are special 👏

Every time we travel through, this is a must-stop for us. Easily the best IGA in Australia 🙌🏼 always fresh, incredibly well presented and full of unique products you don’t see everywhere else.

You can tell how much pride and hard work goes into the business and it shows in every part of the store 🤗

Thank you to the Charters Towers Regional Council for bringing your information centre volunteers out to the roadhouse today. It was great to chat about what’s available out here, the distances travellers can expect, and everything our little part of the region has to offer.

The volunteers are also visiting the rest of the region so they can better inform visitors and help showcase all that Charters Towers has to offer. We were very happy to put on smoko for the group and appreciate them taking the time to come out 🥰

Pinky also thoroughly enjoyed all the extra attention 😍

For Mother’s Day, we got Mum this dog parking sign made for the roadhouse. Big thank you to Kuhn Steel Fab and Sundown Engineering for your work, we absolutely love how it turned out!🤗🤗

The horses have been found safe and well! 🙌🐴

Hey everyone 👋🏼

Some competitors from the Campdraft are currently missing 4 horses. They were caught on the cameras last night, and despite having the helicopter up searching all day, they still haven’t been located.

Three of the horses are wearing red rugs and one is wearing an aqua rug.

If anyone has seen them or has any information at all, please get in touch. We’d really appreciate everyone keeping an eye out. Thank you.
