In 1956, Bill Aspin started a small boat hire business on the Pumicestone Passage.
Back then there were up to six boat hire businesses dotted around Caloundra and Golden Beach. Seventy years on, Bill's is the only one still here.
The story behind our colours goes back to the very beginning. Bill looked up at the Caloundra Lighthouse on the hillside and knew straight away. Those were the colours his boats would wear. We've honoured that ever since.
Seventy years is a long time for anything to stay simple. No boat licence required. Just you, the people you love most, and this beautiful waterway. Some things don't need changing.
