Gold Coast Service Centre is looking for an energetic and passionate qualified mechanic to join our team of experienced technicians.

We currently have a great opportunity for a motivated mechanic to join our award winning automotive workshop in Southport. Here at Gold Coast Service Centre, we have a strong focus on repeat business and building long term relationships with our clients. We offer a friendly team work environment and are looking for a 6th member to join our team and to keep up with the growth of our business.

The successful applicant must have experience with the following on all makes and models of light vehicles:
• Carrying out basic servicing and logbook servicing duties;
• All suspension and brake repairs;
• Cooling system diagnosis and repairs;
• Engine repairs, including head gaskets and timing belts/chains;
• Removal and refitting of engine and driveline components;
• Basic diagnostic experience using scan tool;
• Tyre fitting and balancing experience is desirable (with the applicant being willing to learn if not); and
• Basic electrical knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Requirements:
• You must supply your own general tools (specialist tools will be provided by the workshop);
• Mechanical trade qualification
• Current manual drivers licence
• Air conditioning and Qld roadworthy licences preferred but not essential. We are willing to provide training for the right applicant

Salary will start at $60k plus super, with regular reviews based on performance. There are always opportunities for overtime if desired, however it is not mandatory
