Wrap up of Round 3 Replica Tourers at Queensland Raceway after countless late nights and a full test day at MP a week earlier, no sign of elecrical gremlin that has been doing the Boss's head in,
So happy days, into it and ready to race again..
Qually P2 1.17 happy camper car on song..
Race 1 National circuit,Cut out at full noise off the start, she refused to refire until all the way to turn 2 😳 back to 15th missfiring again multiple times but managed a 5th finish..
Race 2 Clubman track, no issues P4 No Gremlin... ok here we go.
Race 3 hooking along and.. omfg. Debris on track.. Front left tyre failure on the main straight at over 200k's into turn 1😱 a wild ride all the way to the wall around to turn 2, with the office girl loosing her mind watching from the roof..
Boss did a Stella job hanging on and keeping her straight through that. DNF and new knickers.
Race 4 National circuit 12lapper, starting at rear of grid with Shane Stuart making it up the field multiple hiccups again 😒 to cut out last lap and limp home in 5th.. fts.. this Gremlin will not beat us though, but it certainly doesn't make for enjoyable racing along with other things so that went on. We will reboot, rebuild and get this sorted one way or another..

We've had the pleasure of looking after Stephan's DrSugar VP lately, after a little oil pressure scare at the last round it was thought best to whip her heart out and send it up to Pete to check and freshen. So Grimmo has been reinstalling her, fixing an ongoing clutch issue some wiring issues, a tune up, new precautionary guages, new alternator and fixed the Taco that has been plaguing Stephan for along time.. she's now happy, ready and eager for the next round at QR..

Well well well the dreaded electrical gremlin that caused some greif in Round 1 decided to come knocking at warm up this morning 🫣 we missed the only practice session whist the boys worked franticly to get her out right on the vinegar stroke for qually.. result P2 117.7 behind Shane 1.17 flat 👌 we will take that 😊❤️ Race one pedaling along nicely doing her thing then lap 4 cut out wtaf... nooooooo this happened again and again 5/6 times throughout the race... seriously 👀
Still the cranky girl refuses to give up comming in 3rd nearly alongside the Mustang .14 of a sec between them. And the Boss managing to get fastest lap of the field 1.18flat wounded. Shane took the win Race 1, very well deserved 👏
A huge thank you for today as always & without your help this morning we wouldn't have made it out. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
