And the Motul Best Red winner is.... The 1968 Fiat Dino! ❤️

But first the lore of the Dino....Fiat & Ferrari came together so Enzo could meet FIA Formula 2 rules in 1967 ➡️ no more than 6 cylinders, had to derived from a production road GT class engine with at least 500 examples manufactured in a year.

So the Dino V6 Engine was born, named for Enzo Ferrari's son Alfredo.

The car makers would go on to produce a the total of 7,803 Dino's; 74% were the popular Coupé body and only 26% were spiders.

It was such a pleasure to meet the owner and the Fiat crew at the DGD event, a very worthy winner.

They walked away with a complete car care kit to help keep the Dino in it's impeccable condition. ✨️

As a Distinguished Gentleman's Drive sponsor, we gave away the MOTUL BEST RED award & the competition was fierce stacked with worthy winners....

➡️ Let us know your pick in the comments...

We'll post our choice tomorrow!

Our second prize was the "Motul Medic's Silver Lining Kit" for the first car with a mechanical mishap ... However, with tow trucks trailing the convoy up Mount Mee, they simply had the day off this year with everyone making the finish line.

There was one car who pulled over for a quick chat... So they who shall remain nameless drove away with the Motul Engine + Gear oil service kit to soften the blow of any upcoming registered mail.

The Distinguished Gentleman's Brisbane Drive was an incredible success with a handsome sum raised for the Movember Charity... More to come on all the fun soon.
