The park has beautiful views to the high-rises of Surfer's Paradise, and is directly across the water from Sea World and Marina Mirage. The major shopping centre, Australia Fair, with its large selection of boutiques, national chain stores, cinemas and supermarkets, is just a stroll away. The park is a short drive to the excitement of Surfers Paradise and Sea World, and provides easy access to all

the other Gold Coast theme parks and major shopping centres. Visit the new Broadwater Parklands within a 1km walk or cycle along the picturesque waterfront. It features a water playground for children of all ages to enjoy, complete with picnic and barbecue facilities.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Aaand that’s a wrap on the Gold Coast Marathon 2026! 🎉

A huge congratulations to all of our amazing guests who took part this weekend – from the little legends completing their very first 2km event, to those tackling the Half Marathon, Full Marathon, the Double, and everyone in between. What an incredible achievement!

We take our hats off to each and every one of you. Your determination, commitment and effort have been inspiring, and we hope you’ve enjoyed a well-deserved few days of rest and relaxation with us at Broadwater Tourist Park.

🏃 Marathon Weekend is Here! 🏃

We’re excited to welcome a full park of runners, participants, supporters, and spectators for what promises to be a fantastic weekend!

Here’s what’s happening around the park:

🎬 Friday Night
Movie Night on the big screen in the Events Area.

🎨 Saturday – 9:00am
Enjoy FREE Airbrush Tattoos in the Recreation Room.

🎶 Saturday – 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Join us in the Events Area as we celebrate our Half Marathon finishers with a relaxing afternoon of live music featuring Gav Bell Solo.

🥞 Sunday – 8:30am to 9:30am
Our famous Pancake Breakfast will be served from the Arrival Bay.
Please register at Reception by 6:00pm Saturday to secure your spot.

Good luck to all runners taking part this weekend! We can’t wait to see you around the park proudly wearing your event shirts and hard-earned medals.

🎉 Our first Winter Happy Hour of the year was a fantastic success!

A big thank you to everyone who came along and supported our multi-draw raffle. Thanks to your generosity, we raised just over $450 for Dementia Australia! 👏

Congratulations to all of our lucky prize winners! 🎁

We’d also like to give a special shout-out to The Meat Hub and Ashton Entertainment for donating our major prizes – an amazing meat tray and tickets to the circus coming to town. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Another lovely winter week at Broadwater! ☀️❄️

The week kicked off with a fun-filled game of Bingo on Tuesday, followed by delicious pancakes on Thursday as Manager Matt celebrated Queensland’s epic State of Origin win! 🏉 ❤️

Our wonderful Broadwalkers also enjoyed another great walk, making our way down to the pier at Broadwater Parklands and taking in the gorgeous scenery along the way.

With perfect weather and plenty of smiles, it’s been another fantastic week at Broadwater! 😊🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🌊

For this weekend only, John from Ezi-Weigh Mobile Caravan and Vehicle Weighing will be onsite at Broadwater, giving caravaners the chance to get a full rig weight assessment.

It’s more than just numbers. Many vans and cars on the road are unknowingly overweight or unbalanced, which can impact safety, handling, insurance and compliance.
