The time has come. 22 years in the local community and almost 60 years in the trade, it’s with a mixture of heavy-heart, yet reflective and optimistic contentedness that I concede that it’s time to farewell and retire.

The doors are now closed and I’m organising the clearing out of the workshop this week for a Grand Mechanical Garage Sale on March 5-6th.

See below for a broad snapshot of what needs to go.

Specialised Mechanical Equipment (Hoists, Engine Lifter/Transmission Lifter, Carbon Clean, Trans Flush, Power steering Flush, Scan Tools, Oscilloscope, Parts Washer, Compressors, Drill Press, Sand Blaster, Grinders etc)

· Various Tools (puller kits, large spanners, RWC Tools, Battery Computer Tester, tension wrenches, Engine Stand, Tool Trolleys,

· Fixtures (shelving, mezzanine, storage cabinets, tool benches, safes, etc)

· Office equipment (desks, computer, printer, modem, keyboards, mouse, elevated workstation, cabinets, shelves, chairs etc)

· Stock (Wurth products, Spark Plugs, Filters, LPG stock, oil, coolant etc )

After 22 years servicing the local community, this local business is closing its doors for a well-deserved retirement.

Plant and Equipment is to be sold off within the next few weeks - including office fixtures and the freestanding mezzanine structure (currently used for housing the office space and a top-level for storage).

All standard mechanical workshop equipment, hoists and customer database are also available. All quality and very well cared for.

Leda Mechanical Repairs prides itself on being female friendly. We make sure we explain any issues in simple terms and what to look for in case of any problems. We also remind our customers when their service is due and we provide our female customers with a special VIP membership free of charge. Being a VIP entitles them to visit our business between services, to have their tyres and fluid levels checked, this assists the customer to ensure the vehicle is maintained correctly.
