A new chapter for speedway in Australia is on the horizon in South East Queensland with plans for Moreton Motorsport Park, a privately funded venue designed specifically for motorsport enthusiasts.

Community feedback is now being sought, and this is an opportunity for speedway supporters to make their voices heard. Share your experiences, explain the role speedway plays in your life, and outline the benefits a modern, dedicated facility could bring to drivers, teams, spectators, local businesses, and future generations of racers.

Corbets Group are behind the development - but it's soon to be in the hands of the State Government to determine whether they can move to the next stage.

The fence is starting to come up!👀

Over the last few days the posts for our new fence have been concreted into the ground. While there is still more posts to go into the ground, we thought we would give an update of how the reconstruction is going!

The amount of hours that our volunteers have spent to get the old wall down is greatly appreciated!!
None of this would’ve happened if it wasn’t for our amazing volunteers.

Over the next few months we will keep trying to update everyone about how it’s all going!

Catch Fence and Concrete Wall Gone!

A massive thank you to Gambier Earth Movers and over 20 volunteers to help remove the fencing and concrete slabs.

The next stage will begin soon with preparation of the new concrete wall and supports for the upright posts

We like to thank everyone for their support over the last month. This is a huge undertaking and cannot be done without people giving up their time to support our club!

We will endeavour to keep everyone updated on the works and further improvements to our venue.

Lastly we have had many enquiries about if the track will be wider. We will leave you with this....The Bullring will still be The Bullring...

Concrete is down at borderline!🏁

The past 2 days, Gambier Earth Movers have been kept busy. Ripping out all the concrete out of the wall bringing it to just the poles remaining.

We couldn’t thank Glen and the team at Gambier Earth Movers enough for there support.🏁🏁

Do you notice anything different at Borderline?…👀

While our season has come to a close for 2025/2026, Our volunteers haven’t. A 6 am start on Easter Sunday, saw volunteers out at the speedway pulling down all the fencing and gates ready for the excavator to come and pull out all the concrete from our walls. Borderline Speedway is upgrading, with new concrete, fences, LED lights, New Judges box and another corporate box.
