Heavy Maintenance are looking for a motivated, qualified mechanic/diesel fitter for a full time role in Biloela. The role would also be suited to a light vehicle mechanic who may be looking to upskill or gain some experience in the mining sector.

The primary tasks for this role will be working within a small team to repair and maintain a fleet of ancillary mining equipment in the Biloela area, working "lifestyle" roster, day shift only.

Heavy Maintenance are a Gladstone based, family owned and operated mechanical business, specializing in earthmoving equipment in the mining sector.

The suitable applicant should have the following:
• Generic Coal Mining Induction (Standard 11)
• Queensland Coal Board Medical
• Open Car Licence is a must, Heavy Rigid is a plus
• The ability to pass a drug/alcohol test

Accomodation and meals provided for applicants outside the Banana shire.

Potential option available for 7/7 positions in surrounding areas after 3 months probation period.

The right candidate must have:
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Heavy Rigid is a plus)
- Qualification in Light Vehicle Technology or similar
- The ability to pass a drug and alcohol test

Requirements prior to start date:
- QLD Cold Board Medical
- Generic Mining Induction (Standard 11)
