👋Meet Nelson - Workshop Foreman 👋

With 21 years in the automotive industry, Nelson brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to the Gilgandra Toyota team. His career has taken him around the world, including 16 years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and time in Japan through Toyota's ICT program, where he gained valuable insights into different technologies, cultures and ways of working.

Now based in Australia, Nelson has recently stepped into the role of Workshop Foreman, where he thrives on solving complex problems and taking on new challenges. Whether it's diagnosing a difficult fault or tackling a complicated repair, he enjoys working through the process to find the best outcome for both customers and the team. His dedication to learning and continuous improvement is what has driven his career across multiple countries and continues to motivate him every day.

That same sense of curiosity and adventure extends beyond the workshop. Since moving to Australia in 2023 with his wife, Caroline, and their children, Nestor and Neorah, Nelson has embraced every opportunity to explore his new home. As a family, they enjoy camping, cycling, long drives and discovering new places together, making the most of everything Australia has to offer.

With his global experience, technical expertise and positive approach to every challenge, Nelson is a fantastic addition to our team. We're proud to have him leading our workshop and helping deliver the high standard of service our customers know and trust.
