One of the best parts of camping is getting out and enjoying some pretty incredible places 🌿⛺. And we’d all like to keep them that way!

In our latest blog, we’re sharing some simple ways to Leave No Trace when you’re camping, from choosing biodegradable products and looking after your campsite to knowing the local firewood rules and what to do with your rubbish.

They’re only little things, but when we all do our bit, it helps keep our favourite camping spots looking great for the next crew who comes along. 🙌

Has your RV been hibernating during winter? 🚐

One of our customers hadn’t taken their van out since living in it for a month while they were moving house. It had been safely tucked away undercover, but they knew it was worth getting checked and serviced before heading back out on the road.

When a van sits for a while, things like seals, brakes and bearings can start to deteriorate. These small issues can quickly become bigger problems down the track 🛠️𖥕

Now that spring is here, it's great time to get your van checked over and sorted, so you’re ready to pack up and head off for the school holidays.

A little camping FYI before your next trip! 🏕️🔥

A night around the campfire with a few s’mores sounds pretty good to us. But if you’re heading into a Victorian national park, remember that fallen branches and timber aren’t there for the taking.

National parks protect natural materials, and even fallen timber plays an important role in providing habitat for wildlife and protecting the environment. 🍃 🦘 🐨 🦜

So before you head off, check the rules where you’re staying and bring your own firewood if needed.

A handy little reminder that can save you some trouble when you arrive! 🙌

Spring is here! 🌼 Time to dust off the RV and make sure it’s ready for your next adventure.

As we move out of the quieter winter months and towards the school holiday rush, now’s a great time to get on top of any servicing or maintenance before you hit the road.

At Patto’s RV Centre, our workshop team can help with:

✔️ Brakes, bearings & suspension
✔️ Couplings & towing components
✔️ Electrical & safety checks
✔️ Tyres & underbody inspections
✔️ House servicing
✔️ Water ingress testing & seal inspections

Because the last thing you want is a small issue turning into a big headache halfway through your trip.

Get your caravan, camper trailer or RV sorted now, so you can hit the road with confidence. 🙌
