This is what happens when multiple workshops work on and wire one 4WD.

It’s not necessarily that anyone’s done a bad job. It’s that every accessory has been added individually with no one thinking about what the finished build needs to look like.

And when something does stop working, it’s going to be a nightmare to diagnose and fix.

A good build isn’t just about choosing the right parts. Someone needs to think about how the whole thing comes together from day one.

Toyota fanboys… why aren’t you buying the Tundra?

On paper, you’d think it would be an easy sell. 4.5T tow capacity and most importantly — it’s a Toyota.

But it hasn’t taken off in Australia the way you might expect.

Is $155k+ simply too much? Or if you’re spending that sort of money, are the RAM, Silverado and F-150 just more appealing?

If you had $150–180k to spend on an American truck, what are you buying? 👇

If you’re looking at a GVM upgrade for a RAM 2500 or Silverado 2500HD, there’s something you might not have come across with previous GVM upgrades.

Once the GVM goes above 4,500kg, the vehicle moves from the NB1 to NB2 category.

If you’ve previously had a GVM upgrade on something like a LandCruiser, this wasn’t something you had to think about. But with the capacities available on these bigger trucks, NB2 comes into the conversation.

It’s something worth understanding when you’re looking at the different GVM options available for your 2500 American truck.

We’ve broken down NB1 vs NB2 and what it means in our blog. Link in the comments.

Most people don’t do this before building their 4WD.

Think about how you’ll use the completed build, then work towards that in stages. That way, you’re spending your budget on the upgrades that make the biggest difference today, while avoiding expensive mistakes you’ll have to undo later.

Not sure where to start? Contact the team and we’ll help you build your 4WD around how you actually use it. Link in bio

If you’ve moved from a LandCruiser to a RAM, Silverado, F-150 or Tundra, what made you switch?
Tow capacity? GVM?

Or if you’re still hanging onto your Cruiser, what’s stopping you from making the jump?
Reliability? Size?

The Next-Gen Ranger Raptor has always been an fun ute, but payload has been the biggest compromise. Add a canopy, roof rack, camping gear, or hook up a ski, and you'll quickly find yourself running out of carrying capacity.

That's exactly why we've had so many Raptor owners asking about GVM upgrades.

The good news is that Lovells Automotive Systems has finally released a federally approved GVM upgrade that works with the Raptor, not against it. Rather than replacing the factory FOX Live Valve suspension that makes the Raptor so good to drive, this system retains the factory shocks and pairs them with engineered components to legally increase your GVM and GCM, giving you the extra payload you needed to get the most out of your Raptor.

In this video, Brent explains how the system works, who it's designed for, and answers the questions we've been getting from Raptor owners since the kit was announced.

You HAVE to buy one of these 4 American “trucks”.

No sitting on the fence. No “I’d buy a LandCruiser.”

Which one are you choosing, and what’s your reasoning? Let’s hear it. 👇

70 series owners, look away.

Electronically adjustable mirrors. Heated seats. Wood grain and leather steering wheel. Features that a brand new 79 still doesn’t have…on a 80 series from the 90s.

What else did we miss? Drop it in the comments.
