Junior Receptionist

Role
Your role as the Junior Receptionist will entail answering customer calls, directing calls, filing, and general administration duties. You will be liaising with your office manager and customers to address any customer needs, concerns and to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

What you’ll need
• Previous experience in reception an advantage but not necessary
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Professional and friendly attitude
• Proactively taking on and completing tasks
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Word
• Proactive in managing customer expectations, queries and providing timely responses
• Current automotive drivers license

🚗 Body and Paint Estimator 🚙

O’Brien Body and Paint are currently seeking a Body and Paint Estimator to join the team at our locally owned and operated Gatton Panel Shop.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of vehicle estimates for both insurance companies and private customers
- Correspond with insurance assessors and suppliers
- Deal with customers and fellow team members in a courteous and approachable manner
- Ordering the correct required parts for your estimates
- Build confidence in customers that their vehicle is in the best of hands

The successful applicant should possess the following:
- Strong understanding of automotive structure
- Previous experience in the automotive industry a high advantage
- Strong organization skills, time management and computer knowledge
- Have a close eye for detail
- Ability to work as part of a close team

This is a full-time position with immediate start available.

The team at O’Brien Body and Paint would like to wish you all a safe Christmas and Happy New Year 🎄. Our office days have been amended during the holiday period as following:

Friday 24th – OPEN
Monday 27th – CLOSED
Tuesday 28th – CLOSED
Wednesday 29th – OPEN
Thursday 30th – OPEN
Friday 31st – OPEN
Monday 03rd – CLOSED

Although we are remaining open some of these days it will only be office staff on the premises, therefore no repairs to vehicles will be completed between 25th December – 03rd January. We will only be taking on quotes and general enquiries during the holiday period.

Regular working days will resume on Tuesday 04th January 2022.

Queensland Government have advised Lockyer Valley will go into lockdown from 6pm Tuesday 29th June (today) to 6pm Friday 2nd July. We have been notified that automotive service and repairs are NOT required to close. Therefore, we have chosen to remain open as per usual unless advised otherwise.

Masks are mandatory during this lockdown and all customers are required to check in on arrival. Thankyou for your cooperation during this time.
