🏁🔥 ROUND 6 – THE SAPPHIRE SHAKEDOWN & MINI ENDURO! 🔥🏁

We’re back at it! Round 6 of the Sapphire Coast Kart Club Championship is coming up on Saturday 19th September, and we’re shaking things up with a full day of sprint racing. Followed by a mini 4SS rookie novice enduro race for 1 hour. Stay posted regarding the details.

🏁 RACE FORMAT
⏱️ 6 Minute Qualifying
🏁 Heat 1 – 10 / 12 Laps
🏁 Heat 2 – 10 / 12 Laps
🏁 Heat 3 – 10 / 12 Laps
🏆 Final – 15 / 20 Laps

Grid positions will be determined by qualifying for Heats 1 & 2, with Heat 3 based on the results of Races 1 & 2. The Final grid will be set from the result of Heat 3. Final only

• Gates Open – 6:30am
• Canteen & Scrutineering – 7:30am
• Drivers Briefing – 8:00am
• Racing Commences – 8:15am
• Presentation – approximately 4:00pm

🏕️ CAMPING
Overnight camping is available, with a $25 family fee for two nights.

Entries are now open via the KNSW MyKarting Portal, with entries closing Wednesday 16th September at 11:59pm. Late entries close Friday 18th September at 11:59pm.

A huge thank you to our Round 5 sponsor, Merimbula Ice Creamery, for helping make The Sundae Dash such a sweet day at Sapphire Coast Kart Club!

Their generous support saw our podium placegetters take home gift cards to indulge in some well-earned ice cream after a hard-fought day of racing. 🍦🏆

It was awesome to see such a strong turnout across our 4SS classes. The numbers are continuing to grow down here at SCKC, and it’s fantastic to see more competitors getting into the classes and enjoying some great racing.

🏁 Round 4 Club Championship Wrap-Up 🏁
What a fantastic day back racing in the anticlockwise direction! It was great to return to a traditional race format, with plenty of close racing, impressive drives and smiles all around and the nail biting feelings of Final only rounds!

A huge well done to all of our competitors, travelling far and wide, we appreciate you greatly!
And As always a massive Thank you to our officials, canteen volunteers and families for making another successful race meeting possible.

We’ll also be returning to the anticlockwise direction, effective from this Wednesday, giving everyone plenty of time to get re-familiarised with the track before race day.

• Grid determined by qualifying times

After an exciting start to the season, we're returning to a traditional race format and heading back to the anticlockwise direction. The track will officially switch back to anticlockwise from this Wednesday, giving everyone plenty of time to get some laps in before race day.
