The EX5 spent 12 months being tested on Australian roads before it went on sale, mainly in Victoria. If you’ve driven around here lately, you know we have a pothole problem, so it got a proper workout. A team from Geely HQ worked with the local crew to retune the suspension for the roads we actually drive on, so it stays composed on the rough stuff without losing comfort.
They didn’t stop at the suspension either. The lane keeping, sign detection and driver attention monitoring were calibrated for Australian conditions too. Most people assume an imported car just gets shipped over as is, and this one didn’t.
