Changing Tacho cable after 60 years of service, this was a tool i made to get the job done . It can be challenging, to do due to lack of room in the Tunnel.

Hi all , we all need to recharge our batteries every once in a while. Four day trail ride on my motorbike in Victoria high country, then three days away in the west near the sea . Its also Lynda and my 30 th wedding anniversary.
Back on deck Thursday the 2nd 2021.

Up grading 87 3.2 Carrera, to SSI exhaust system . Hardest part is getting the air flowing for the heater system, very happy with the result. Our new Technician , is a very handy Fabricator . Welcome Kyle To our team , enjoying having some Talented assistance.

This 1976 3.0 Turbo just needed an oil leak fixed for RWC , lets say it just got a bigger job after that including full refresh and up grades like steel head studs and larger oil pump.

3.0 RSR re creation engine , how to turn a negative into a positive. This was a 1978 3.0 SC engine that we purchased for a racing client , but then he changed his mind. So eventually i turned it in to what i always wanted to do a very close RSR engine. It has some really good quality parts like Pauter forged con rods high performance springs Pauter rockers . So much more including our own , twin spark Marelli distributor. Cant wait to get it in our 1972 911T, but need to finish clients cars first.

DIY mechanics , choose your battels wisely . This 1982 came to us running like a dog, many things were not quite right . But eventually we found and rectified the fault , it wasn't easy to diagnose or fix . The DIY engine builder didnt realize the flywheel had to be placed in the correct position , so the very early type computer ignition would run correctly. Still not sure how it even ran after the flywheel was 60 degrees out of place. But at least it runs really well now and one very Happy owner .
