With help from Nat & Rob we cleaned and sanded and seam sealed , stone guard , epoxy primer, filler & more primer .... There's a lot of sanding in paint preparation 🤣 no wonder I don't often do it , but the results were rewarding

To answer my own question
The aluminium clamps work well as heat shrinks as well as reducing the panel from distortion

Has anyone had experience with using aluminium blocks as heat sinks to reduce distortion ?
