Giving this N80 Hilux a front end upgrade 🔥

The original upper control arm ball joints on this N80 Hilux were ☠️

We replaced them with Dobinsons adjustable forged alloy upper control arms, giving us more adjustment to get the front end geometry and alignment properly dialled 👌🏻

With over 500,000km on the clock, this 2007 Holden Rodeo 4jj1💪🏻 has certainly earned its keep 🫣

The original injectors were well and truly ready for retirement after just over half a million kilometres!

We’ve fitted a fresh set of genuine Denso injectors and a new fitting kit to keep the old girl running for plenty more kilometres. 👌🏻

500,000km and still going! 🔧

N70 Hilux freshen up 🔥

This one came in needing a fair bit of work through the fuel system and intake.

We’ve fitted a fresh set of genuine injectors, along with a new suction control valve (SCV) and high pressure pipes to sort out some of the fuel system issues.

The intake manifold was removed and cleaned to get rid of the buildup that had accumulated over the years, with the rocker cover replaced at the same time.

This 79 Series came in already tuned but facing overboost issues. Ran it on the dyno and a quick smoke test revealed leaks in the intercooler and boost hoses. Caught early 😬 before any turbo damage. Leaks fixed, tune checked👌🏻

Cory’s very tidy 79 Series came through the workshop for a general service and a few suspension and steering upgrades, with a range of Superior Engineering components fitted:

✅ Radius Arms
✅ Adjustable Panhard
✅ Track Rod

These upgrades help improve suspension geometry and axle alignment, contributing to better handling, steering response and overall stability.

Another Hilux 1KD in the workshop for injector testing & replacement!

This vehicle was sent from another workshop to us with suspected injector faults. The injectors were removed and tested in-house on our common rail test bench. Testing confirmed they were outside specification and required replacement.

A fresh set of Denso injectors, high-pressure pipes, suction control valve and fitting kit were supplied and installed!

Our common rail injector services include:

Injector coding/calibration where required

Testing allows us to accurately assess injector performance and confirm faults before replacing parts unnecessarily

COMMON RAIL INJECTORS – TRADE SUPPLY 🔧

A set of V8 LandCruiser injectors were sent to us by a workshop for testing on our common rail injector test bench. Testing identified that their customer’s original injectors were outside specification and required replacement.

A new set of common rail injectors, complete with the required fitting kit, gaskets and seals, has now been supplied and is on its way back to the workshop, ready for installation.

Injector testing accurately identifies issues with fuel delivery, return rates and overall injector performance, giving workshops the information they need to confidently diagnose injector faults before replacing components unnecessarily.

We value working alongside other workshops and providing the testing, technical support and reliable results needed to help identify and diagnose common rail fuel system faults. Our aim is to give workshops the information they need to make confident repair decisions and get their customers back on the road!
