There are days when you pause for a second and remember why you love what you do ❤️

Today is one of those days.

We’ve just learned that Esk Caravan Park has once again been recognised in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, placing us among the top 10% of accommodation providers worldwide 🌍

For a little family-owned caravan park in country Queensland, that’s pretty humbling.

What makes this recognition even more meaningful is that it isn’t decided by judges or industry panels. It’s based entirely on the reviews and ratings shared by travellers who have stayed with us over the past 12 months.

To us, this award isn’t about rankings.

It’s knowing that guests have felt welcomed, cared for and valued during their stay.

It’s the friendly chats as you wander through the park. The spotless amenities. The helping hand when you need it. The improvements we’re constantly making behind the scenes to ensure every stay is a little better than the last.

🌟 Let's Go Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow 🌟

Em and Ran had a blast volunteering alongside Al at the Caravanning Queensland stand on the weekend, chatting with seasoned travellers and those searching for their very first caravan or camper 🚚

Between them, they handed out hundreds of Queensland Caravan Park directories and shared plenty of tips, stories, and inspiration for exploring our beautiful state.

🧱 One of the highlights of the day was seeing the incredible LEGO caravan on display.

🔹 It's recognised as the world's largest caravan built from LEGO bricks.
🔹 It's a replica of an early 1970s Viscount Caravan.
🔹 It contains just under 300,000 individual LEGO bricks.
🔹 The caravan even features a fully detailed interior, complete with a bed, dinette, stove, fridge and cupboards – plus a tiny jar of Vegemite made entirely from LEGO!

We’re incredibly excited to share that Esk Caravan Park has once again been recognised as a Best of Queensland Experience, a program that celebrates tourism operators consistently delivering exceptional visitor experiences.

But this year came with an extra reason to celebrate...

Of the 119 CPAQ caravan parks across QLD recognised through the program, only 20 parks achieved Silver status - and we are absolutely honoured to be one of them. With just 8 parks awarded Gold, this places Esk Caravan Park among the highest-performing caravan parks in the state.

Today we farewelled two very special members of our Esk Caravan Park family ❤️

Some of our guests may have been greeted by Steve & Sam’s beautiful smiling faces as they made their evening rounds and put the park to bed each night. Alongside their after-hours caretaker role, they also shared their wonderful green thumbs with us, helping keep our little slice of paradise looking beautiful 🌿

While we’re incredibly sad to see them go, we’re also so excited for them as they begin an exciting new chapter in Northern NSW.

Steve & Sam, thank you for the care, kindness, hard work, and warmth you brought to our park and our guests during your time here. You will both be very missed by our team and our park community ❤️
