Have you heard our Bendigo Toyota Little Legends competition on Triple M Bendigo yet? 👏
We kicked things off with an incredible winner… Silas Blundell.
Nominated by Marissa from Bendigo East Swimming Club, Silas is one very deserving recipient of our first $150 sporting voucher.
Earlier this year, Silas faced some incredible health battles and spent time at the Royal Children’s Hospital. During that time, he experienced firsthand the amazing work of the Starlight Foundation helping kids and families through some really tough moments.
But instead of just moving on once he got home, Silas decided he wanted to give back.
So he jumped in the pool and swam almost 15km, raising an incredible $1,822 for Starlight in the process. ❤️🏊
We were so inspired by his efforts that Bendigo Toyota decided to donate another $500 to the Starlight Foundation in Silas’ honour, taking his fundraising total to more than $2,300.
What an effort from an absolute Little Legend.
Each Tuesday morning on Triple M Bendigo, we’ll be announcing a new Little Legends winner… recognising local kids doing amazing things in sport and in our community.
Every weekly winner receives a $150 sporting goods voucher from us here at Bendigo Toyota to help them on their sporting journey.
