🥫 2,250KG OF FOOD! 💛
That’s the incredible final tally from Bendigo Toyota for the 2026 Winter Food Drive for Bendigo Foodshare!
This year’s collection included an entire pallet of rice donated by Bendigo Toyota, with the rest coming from plenty of generous shoppers at Woolworths Epsom, a handful of incredible local businesses, including WhiteAir & Plumbing, Skips skateboard shop and Evolv Homes, our staff, the incredible South Bendigo Netball legends and the drive-through donation drop.
A huge thank you to the Woolies Epsom team for letting Gabe regularly set up out the front and, perhaps more importantly, for continuing to hand her the loudspeaker so she could hijack the PA system and remind shoppers to grab an extra item or two for Foodshare. 😂📣
And people absolutely delivered.
From a single tin to bags full of groceries, every contribution helped us reach an amazing 2.2 tonnes of food.
Right now, Bendigo Foodshare is providing emergency food relief to around 17,000 people across our region every single week. That’s roughly 1 in 5 people relying on support.
To everyone who donated, shared the message, dropped food at the dealership or threw something extra in their trolley, thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤️
