We see this every week, and while it doesn’t surprise us anymore, it’s still important to call out. Dealership “coatings” are usually a complete waste of your hard-earned money.
Case in point: this dealer accidentally applied a “coating” to the wrong vehicle, realized their mistake, and then tried to charge the customer for it anyway. Luckily, the customer stood their ground, especially since they already had a booking with us! To top it off, whatever the dealer slapped on was applied straight over swirl marks, wash marring, and heavy water spots.
We gave the car a proper paint correction, applied a real ceramic coating, and sent the customer home with actual, long-lasting protection
