This project has been made possible through funding support from a Racing Queensland grant, allowing us to continue improving facilities.

🎉🏇 CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF RACING IN MONTO 🏇🎉

The countdown is officially on for one of the biggest celebrations our club has ever seen as the Monto Race Club proudly celebrates 100 years of racing on Saturday, 20 March 2027! 🥂

Our committee is incredibly excited to bring together locals, visitors, past members, racing enthusiasts and families to celebrate a century of racing history.

This milestone celebration is one our committee is so proud to be hosting, and we cannot wait to celebrate 100 years of country racing with you all.

If anyone has any Monto Race Club memorabilia, photographs or historic items they would be happy to loan to the club for the celebrations, please get in contact with us. We would love to help showcase the rich history of racing in Monto.

🔨🏇 BIG THINGS HAPPENING AT THE TRACK 🏇🔨

Progress is underway on our brand new tie-up stalls at the track!

A huge thank you to POSSCO for carrying out the works and helping bring this project to life. We’re excited to see these facilities taking shape and what they’ll add to race day for our trainers and owners.

This project has been made possible through funding support from a Racing Queensland grant — and it’s another great step forward for our club and facilities.

Plenty of work happening behind the scenes as we continue improving the track for our racing community 👏

Turns out we’re not just good at race days… we go alright at cattle drives too 😏🐂

Proud to play a small part in supporting the Eidsvold Cattle Drive. It’s efforts like this that make our community what it is.

From the use of their cold room to helping make our Dinner Under The Stars event such a success with tables, chairs, and running the bar, their support & hard work does not go unnoticed.

Here is their coldroom in the Stock Camp, ready to help feed & water our crew.

The Eidsvold Race Club is another amazing Eidsvold volunteer committee doing so much for our community. Please support their race day on the long weekend in October. We’re so grateful to have them behind us! 🤍
