UHF aerials and practical communication accessories help support clearer contact when you are travelling in convoy, checking road conditions, calling out hazards or keeping in touch around a worksite.

For regional drivers, touring families and 4x4 owners heading beyond town, a well-fitted communication setup is one of those practical upgrades that earns its place fast.

We can help you choose accessories that suit your vehicle, your travel style and the way you use your 4WD.

Drop into our Talbragar Street showroom, opposite Aldi, to see the options in person.

Big news for anyone looking at the new Toyota Hilux N90!

Dobinsons has just gained pre- and post-registration approval for GVM upgrades on this vehicle, with the kit upgrading the Hilux N90 to 3800kg.

That opens up a stronger setup for drivers who need extra payload capacity for work gear, touring equipment, towing setups or regional travel without pushing the vehicle beyond its approved limits.

We can chat through what the new Dobinsons GVM kit means for your Hilux and whether it suits the way you plan to use it.

Call us on (02) 6884 7174 or drop in to discuss your options.

🚨SHOP CLOSURE 🚨

Regional driving can mean roos, loose gravel, rough shoulders and long stretches between towns.

A quality bullbar gives your 4WD added front-end protection while also creating a strong base for practical accessories like driving lights, aerials and recovery points.

The right fit matters. A bullbar needs to suit your vehicle, your driving style and the gear you rely on, whether you are heading out west, towing, travelling for work or setting up for weekend tracks.

We can help you choose a bullbar setup that looks the part, works with your vehicle and is built for real regional use.

Call us on (02) 6884 7174 or drop into Dubbo Outback 4x4 to talk through your options.

Cold mornings and longer regional drives are a good reminder to check how your 4WD is set up before the next trip.

Winter touring can put extra pressure on batteries, suspension, lighting and storage. A practical pre-trip check helps you spot what needs attention before you are halfway down a dirt road with gear rattling, lights underperforming or your setup feeling heavier than expected.

We can help with touring accessories, suspension upgrades, dual battery systems and storage solutions that suit how you actually use your vehicle.

Planning a winter run or getting ready for spring travel? Give us a call on (02) 6884 7174 and we can talk through the setup.

A properly set-up touring or work ute starts with the right suspension and load capacity.

A certified GVM upgrade helps keep your 4WD stable, legal and properly balanced when fully loaded.

Professional upgrades improve safety, braking performance, suspension durability and long-distance comfort for work or adventure vehicles carrying heavy loads across highways, tracks and remote terrain.

We handle the engineering, paperwork and fitment in-house, so you can focus on the road ahead instead of compliance stress.

If your setup feels close to its limits, it may be time for a proper assessment.

Today our workshop will be closed as we gather to say goodbye to a much-loved member of our family.

A bullbar is only as useful as what you mount to it.

Driving lights for early starts on dirt tracks, a UHF aerial for staying connected beyond mobile range, winch mounts for recovery situations and rated recovery points for safe pulls. These are the details that turn a bar from a bumper replacement into a genuinely functional piece of your touring or work setup.

We handle all wiring and integration in-house, so your lights, aerials and winch electrics are fitted properly the first time. No loose wires, no rattles, no shortcuts.

Planning a build or upgrading what you already have? Drop into our showroom opposite Aldi and we will walk you through the options.

Long-distance touring requires more than just accessories. It demands a balanced combination of suspension, load support, storage and protection.

A properly planned touring build also considers fuel range, recovery capability, electrical systems and weight distribution to ensure reliability in remote areas. Thoughtful preparation helps reduce breakdown risks, improves driving comfort and keeps your vehicle performing consistently across thousands of kilometres.

We build touring setups designed for comfort on highways and durability on red dirt tracks across Australia.

Planning a big trip? Let’s map out a build that supports it.
